The beginning...

As I have ventured through my life, I’ve had a deep desire to connect with nature, art, and humanity. In 5th grade I did my science fair project on causes of homelessness. In 9th grade, I did a report on efforts to save the rainforest. I’ve spent a lot of time at various art museums, contemplating my path. I have no advanced training in any technical art skills. Art just comes to me through life, just like breath flows in and out. Nature has been a big influence in my art.
My son, a nature and art lover as well, has really sparked my fire again to create. The joy he’s had over the years painting rocks, exploring the desert, creating something out of nothing, has really filled my heart and soul. My husband has encouraged communing with nature, taking me out to the desert, mountains, on hikes, etc. and he has found something magical about it as well. Right now we are looking at property in Landers, right outside of Joshua Tree. We really connect as a family when we’re out there, living on the land, no electronics, and just being. It’s beautiful.
I have worked in the legal field for the past 18 years. I still am working as a Legal Document Assistant with San Diego Legal Documents as my “day job” but would love to add more of creating, helping, sharing, and serving in my life. I’m excited to see how this will unfold and look forward to sharing this journey with all of you.
My life has been quite tumultuous and I’m constantly on a journey to discover more about myself and my spirituality. I look forward to sharing more as I learn to embrace my path even further. I have to give credit to the community of women that have really supported me and continue to hold me up. Without all of you, none of this would have been possible.
